Growing up, I was always very creative and loved any kind of artistic activity. Some of my favorite memories from my childhood include jamming out to Alanis Morissette and Simon & Garfunkel in the car with my mom or helping her work on a painting she was creating while we watched our favorite movies. At eight years old, I finally decided to sign myself up to audition for the local production of Charlotte's Web at the Waukegan Park District and immediately knew that performing was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Since then I have fallen absolutely in love with every aspect of theatre.

When I'm not onstage or in the rehearsal room, I still spend a lot of my free time analyzing pop music, going on runs, or spending quality time with the people I love. I am a HUGE Momma's boy, and home is very important to me.

As an artist, I take great pride in my ability to bring nuanced, authentic, and socially pertinent stories to the stage while bringing great joy, positivity, and collaboration into the rehearsal room.  I am particularly passionate about stories that explore queerness, Latinx identity, and mental health through an experimental and avant-garde lens. I am constantly looking for new ways to bring theatrical conventions to life onstage while also relying on tried and true acting techniques to achieve true, natural life in a role. In my teaching, I aim to inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to develop a deep joy and appreciation for theatre from a young age, setting them up for a lifetime of passion for the performing arts.
